New Law for holiday rental properties

We would like to inform our clients and friends, that due to the new law who came into force on 27 November 2014, in which the owners of holiday villas / apartments must be registered in the Finances Department obtaining this way the mere communication of local accommodation (AL) as of January 2015, our site will display only the properties that are already registered. All other properties will be inserted as the processes are completed.

In Portugal, not only the properties require obtaining a rental license ( AL – Local Accommodation ) at the Town Hall, as well as the agencies. This Real Estate license is obtained through the Office of Construction and Real Estate ( InCI – ), a number being assigned which should be included in any advertisement and/or website. Through this number you may access the InCI website to obtain confirmation of the existence and legality of the agency.

Ensure the existence of the property reserved is essential, to avoid a huge disappointment in an alleged period of rest and relaxation.
