You can continue onto the city of Caldas da Rainha, and admire its beautiful architecture and nature, visit its various arts museums and get a diversified selection of fresh fruits and vegetables all year round.

At a 15 to 20 minute drive away are the beautiful golden thin sand beaches in Baleal and Peniche, with clear waters famously known for their perfect waves for surfing. Peniche is also known for its quality fish and seafood, for its restaurants and for its handcrafted goods. From the city, there are boat rides to the Berlengas Natural Reserve, with astonishing landscapes, diversified fauna and flora, crystalline waters and charming natural nooks.
